Matthew R. Houston (LCSW)

Works with adults and adolescents of all ages providing adolescent and individual psychotherapy. He specializes in working to address anxiety, Attention Deficit, depression, identity issues, relationship difficulties, and shame, guilt and life transitions.

Mr. Houston earned his Master's degree at New York University Silver School of Social Work. His undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and did postgraduate studies at The New School in General Psychology.

Mr. Houston has professional experience working within one of the largest LGBTQ+ Medical Centers in the United States, Callen-Lorde Community Health Center

Mr. Houston is currently attending The William Alanson White Institute of Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis & Psychology, graduating from the Intensive Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program in 2023. In addition, he has attended training and workshops at the Psychoanalytic Association of New York affiliated with NYU School of Medicine, the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy, the Ackerman Institute for Family Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing Beginning 1 training
